The Laboratory of Autonomic Control of the Blood Flow aims at conducting research protocols related to the investigation of the neural cardio-circulatory human control, specially the sympathetic control of the autonomic nervous system, when in rest, during different physiologic maneuvers, such as physical exercise and mental stress after the aerobic physical training. The studies focuses of the Lab are healthy individuals and patients with a variety of physiological and pathological conditions of the cardiovascular disease, such as myocardial infarction, heart failure and hypertension.
